
Mechanical Assembly
Our client is a busy mechanical assembly workshop with a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to help assist in the workshop, assemble small trailers and fix any pain defects. Full training is provided, with the opportunity to upskill in a variety of different areas.
Duties include:
- Mechanical assembly of trailers
- Assembling sub-assemblies with mainly bolts
- Use of hand and/or power tools
- Forklift operating (F+OSH)
- May assist with fixing any paint defects on horse floats
- General labouring duties around the workshop
You will be required to work: Monday - Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm, based in Middleton.
The starting rate for this position is: $25.00p/h + 8% Holiday Pay.
The successful candidate will:
- Be capable of repetitive heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
- An interest in mechanical assembly
- Have own reliable transport
- Be available for an immediate start, long-term
