Client Support & Communications Coordinator
Pay: $26.00–$30.00 per hour
Part-time or Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a professional and dependable Client Support & Communications Coordinator to assist with day-to-day customer communication, service updates, and support coordination.

This role is well suited to someone who is confident speaking with customers by phone, writing clear email responses, and keeping information organised across internal systems. The position involves handling routine enquiries, recording customer details, following up on service-related matters, and helping ensure customers receive timely and helpful support.

The right candidate will be calm, organised, and comfortable managing regular communication throughout the day. This opportunity may suit someone with previous customer service, reception, call centre, office administration, retail, hospitality, or client support experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email in a clear and professional manner
  • Provide customers with basic information, updates, and next-step guidance
  • Record customer notes, requests, updates, and follow-up items accurately
  • Help track open service matters and ensure they are followed up as needed
  • Support internal staff by passing along relevant customer information
  • Maintain organised records using internal systems, spreadsheets, or templates
  • Assist with service-related documents, email updates, and customer communication
  • Follow established procedures for handling questions, updates, and routine issues
  • Help resolve basic customer concerns or direct them to the appropriate team member
  • Contribute to a responsive, organised, and customer-focused support process

Requirements

  • Strong phone communication skills
  • Clear and professional email writing ability
  • Good attention to detail when recording customer information
  • Ability to stay organised while handling multiple enquiries
  • Comfortable using email, online systems, documents, and basic spreadsheets
  • Professional attitude when speaking with customers and team members
  • Ability to follow service processes and written instructions
  • Dependable attendance and consistent follow-through
  • Strong time management during recurring daily support tasks
  • Ability to remain calm, polite, and helpful during customer conversations

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in customer support, call centre work, reception, administration, retail, hospitality, or client service
  • Comfortable handling a steady mix of phone calls and email communication
  • Good listening skills and ability to understand customer needs
  • Accurate data entry and record-keeping ability
  • Strong written communication and reading comprehension
  • Ability to prioritise follow-ups and complete tasks on time
  • Team-focused approach with a willingness to assist where needed
  • Confidence learning new systems, processes, and service workflows

Compensation and Growth

This position offers a higher starting wage range of $26.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience, schedule, communication skills, and overall fit.

It may also provide a strong pathway for candidates who want to build experience in customer communication, service coordination, office support, and team-based client service. Candidates who show reliability, professionalism, and strong performance may be considered for additional responsibilities over time.

Schedule

Part-time and full-time opportunities may be available depending on business needs, availability, and role fit.

Work Arrangement

This position is focused mainly on phone and email-based customer support. The exact work arrangement may vary depending on the role, team structure, and operational requirements.
