Manager, Figma for Education (International)
Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
As we continue to grow globally, we're looking for an International Go-to-Market Lead to drive Figma for Education's expansion into new markets, starting with India, Brazil, Singapore, and Australia. This is a new role with an incredible opportunity to build our international strategy from the ground up, hiring and managing a team of country-leads, developing market-specific programs, and cultivating relationships with key education stakeholders.
We're on a mission to bring Figma to classrooms worldwide—and we need a strategic, inventive, and resourceful leader to help us scale our impact globally. If you're excited about building from 0 to 1, developing new markets, and making an impact in global education, we'd love to hear from you!
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
- Develop and execute the international go-to-market strategy for Figma for Education, prioritizing India, Brazil, Singapore, and Australia to start. This will include K12, higher ed and bootcamps
- Hire, manage, and support a team of regional education leads
- Develop scalable processes for selling, onboarding, and supporting education customers, and cultivate relationships with Boards of Education, university leadership, and bootcamp operators
- Partner with Legal, Sales, and Marketing to ensure regional compliance, messaging alignment, and local go-to-market execution
- Design and launch community programs to build awareness and engagement in each region
- Measure success through data-driven insights, tracking adoption, engagement, and impact across global education markets
- Represent Figma in international education conferences, partnerships, and speaking engagements to expand brand presence
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in international expansion, go-to-market strategy, education sales, partnerships, consulting, business operations or program management
- A track record of launching and scaling programs and/or products in new markets from 0 to 1
- Education industry experience, with knowledge of K-12, higher ed, and/or bootcamp landscapes, personas and adoption
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with government bodies, school leaders, and industry partners across multiple regions
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results without established playbooks or large teams
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
- Experience working at a high-growth tech company or startup
- Background in community building and education marketing
- Familiarity with legal and compliance considerations in international education markets
- Proficiency in Portuguese, Hindi, or other relevant languages
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
