Nau mai, haere mai ki a Fulton Hogan | Join us at Fulton Hogan
We’re looking for a TTM Planning Supervisor to join our TTM Technical Services team in Silverdale. This is a great role for someone who knows TTM planning inside out and wants to lead from the front without the stiff corporate vibe.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
You’ll guide a capable planning team to deliver safe, practical Traffic Management Plans that keep people moving and projects on track. You’ll be right at the centre of our TTM design function, working across projects, teams and regions to make sure traffic management is well planned from day one. It’s a role with real responsibility, where your ideas matter, safety stays front and centre, and Good Work means high standards, low ego, and people backing each other to get the job done.
Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities
Lead, coach and support TTM Planners and other technical team members to deliver high quality TMPs.
Coordinate and prioritise team workflow, keeping an eye on quality, progress and delivery timeframes across multiple projects.
Review and approve TMPs and associated risk assessments, ensuring they align with CoPTTM, NZGTTM, RCA requirements and Fulton Hogan standards.
Work closely with project managers, delivery teams, RCAs, consultants and subcontractors to develop fit-for-purpose, risk-based TTM solutions.
Facilitate design meetings, 3C’s conversations and risk workshops to identify hazards, agree controls and strengthen delivery outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement in TTM planning processes, tools and templates, using learnings from incidents, audits and site feedback.
Provide TTM planning input into tenders, bids and project start-up activities, including methodology, resourcing and risk commentary.
Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with
Significant experience in traffic management design, including complex and high-risk environments.
Proven experience leading people and/or technical teams, ideally within TTM or the civil construction sector.
Strong working knowledge of CoPTTM, NZGTTM and relevant RCA requirements.
Experience in civil construction, with exposure to both maintenance and project works.
Confidence using TTM design software such as Rapid TCP and/or AutoCAD, and reviewing plans prepared by others.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work well with a wide range of stakeholders.
The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects while maintaining high standards.
A practical, safety-focused mindset and a collaborative approach to leadership.

Ko wai mātou | About us
At Fulton Hogan, Good Work is about more than what we build. It’s about how we show up, how we treat each other, and how we move forward together. We deliver the infrastructure people rely on every day across New Zealand, from roads and transport networks to civil construction, maintenance and essential services that keep communities connected. We’re a team that’s flat, friendly and focused, where titles matter less than ideas. We back our people, speak straight, and take the work seriously, not ourselves. And when the stakes are high, we switch on and deliver to a high standard. If you want to be part of a team that values safety, progress, trust and practical thinking, you’ll fit right in.
