A globally respected, independent Brand & Communications agency is looking for a Creative Director to join its New York team, leading thoughtful, high-craft branding, campaigns and communications work across every sector. Despite being a quiet giant in the industry, they get onto the best pitch lists.
You’ll join at a pivotal moment - new clients landing, new hires being made and lots of momentum building. You’ll work closely with senior creative leadership, have genuine influence on the work and build the kind of portfolio that makes other creatives quietly jealous.

You’ll join a creative team of 6 (and growing) in a proper grown-up creative agency environment that has high levels of EQ. People tend to join this business and stay.
This role will appeal if you want to show and build senior creative leadership skills, while designing and leading the conversation on a brand’s creation or evolution. You’ll create visual identities, design systems and campaigns for established brands and ambitious challenger brands.
From shaping big-picture brand thinking to obsessing over the finer details of craft, this role embraces strategy, storytelling and design excellence.
You’ll also mentor and develop the wider creative team, present your thinking confidently to senior stakeholders and senior clients. In this role, you’ll get noticed.
You’ll be:
- Working with research, data and sector experts into thoughtful, engaging creative ideas
- Leading and guiding from concept to execution
- Working closely with the CCO and 2 Creative Directors
- Mentoring creatives and collaborating with strategy and leadership teams
You’ll have:
- 10+ years’ relevant brand, communications, advertising or design agency experience
- A sleek portfolio showcasing standout brand, campaign and storytelling work
- Strong creative direction, strategic thinking and presentation skills
- Experience leading teams and managing senior client relationships
- Exceptional eye for detail, craft, execution and typography.
- A collaborative mindset and genuine passion for creativity
