Software Consultant - SRE
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Implement and manage containerisation solutions (Docker, Kubernetes preferred)
- Improve system reliability, availability, and performance (SRE practices)
- Manage and support Linux-based environments
- Handle enterprise production workloads and deployments
- Perform incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Drive automation and infrastructure improvements
- Collaborate across engineering and operations teams
- Act as a technical consultant and trusted advisor
- Strong experience as a Senior SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Platform Engineer
- Hands-on expertise in:
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Linux systems administration
- Experience in enterprise-scale environments
- Ability to quickly onboard and take ownership in a backfill role
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
