The Opportunity | Te kōwhiringa:

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our passionate and high-performing Asphalt Production team in Wellington as a Production Manager. In this role you will oversee all aspects required to operate the Asphalt Production Businesses, to support the Regional Production Manager to manage the processes needed to run the business efficiently both day to day and also planning for the future of the assets maintenance and replacement.

Day-to-day activities will include

  • Manage Production of Asphalt including and ongoing maintenance of Production facilities, with a focus on Safety, Quality and Regulatory Consents.

  • Coordinate and maintain personnel training,

  • Assist the Regional Production Manager with long term plan for maintenance and replacement of its Asphalt production assets.

  • Identify and share best practices amongst Asphalt Production teams

  • Maintain relationships effectively with both large external and internal customers

Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua

To be successful in this position you will bring with you:

  • Experience in Asphalt Paving & Production.

  • Tertiary qualification or experience in production management would be desirable, but not essential

  • Ability to demonstrate common sense and problem solving skills.

  • Good interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.

  • Previous people management experience
