Full-time Chef
Global Grand Investment PTY LTD is looking for a qualified and experienced Full-time Chef to join our team.
Salary Range - $75,000 to $85,000
Business Location - Mildura VIC 3500
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food in accordance with the restaurant's menu and quality standards.
- Assist with menu planning and the development of new dishes.
- Estimate food requirements and maintain stock levels.
- Ensure food handling, storage, and preparation comply with food safety regulations.
- Prepare meals to meet special dietary requirements.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Regulate cooking temperatures and ensure dishes are prepared correctly.
- Supervise kitchen operations and assist in training junior staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with WHS requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- AQF Certificate IV, Diploma, or higher qualification in Commercial Cookery or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work full-time on a rotating roster.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
