As a Product Marketing Manager on Datadog’s Application Performance Monitoring team, you will help shape how customers understand, adopt, and expand their use of Datadog’s APM products. This role will focus on product marketing for performance optimization capabilities within APM, including Continuous Profiler, while also supporting broader APM initiatives that help engineering teams troubleshoot, optimize, and understand modern applications. You will partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams to translate technical capabilities into clear positioning, messaging, launch strategies, and customer-facing narratives. This is an opportunity to work on products that help developers and operators improve application reliability, performance, and efficiency at scale.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market narratives for Datadog’s Application Performance Monitoring products
  • Support product marketing for performance optimization capabilities within APM, including Continuous Profiler
  • Partner with Product Management to support product launches, roadmap communications, and customer-facing education
  • Create sales enablement materials, competitive guidance, and campaign inputs that help field teams communicate product value
  • Translate technical concepts such as application performance, latency, resource consumption, profiling, and code-level optimization into clear customer benefits
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation, Content, Analyst Relations, Customer Marketing, and Enablement to support integrated go-to-market programs

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in product marketing, solutions marketing, or a related go-to-market role for technical software products
  • Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to developer, engineering, operations, and business audiences
  • Familiar with application performance monitoring, observability, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related software markets
  • Skilled at partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams
  • Comfortable using customer insights, market research, and competitive analysis to shape messaging, launches, and strategy
  • Strong writer and storyteller with experience creating positioning, launch materials, sales enablement content, and customer-facing narratives

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We know not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That’s okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your experience, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • Best-in-breed onboarding
  • Generous global benefits
  • Intra-departmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking
  • Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
  • Inclusive company culture and opportunity to join Community Guilds
  • Access to Inclusion Talks, our Internal Panel Series, and our annual Diversity Hackathon
