Head of Programs & Teaching Ops (AEIS/PSLE/MOE Exams) | Tuition Industry
Our client isa leading global education group committed to providing world-class academic support for international students. As Singapore continues to be a premier global education hub, they are expanding their footprint to help international students seamlessly transition into the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) school system.
We are looking for a visionary leader to drive our academic excellence and operational success in the local market. As the head of Programs and Teaching operation, you will lead the end-to-end curriculum R&D, faculty management, and teaching operations specifically for programs designed to help international students enter MOE primary and secondary schools (AEIS/S-AEIS, O-Levels). You will bridge the gap between international learners' needs and the rigorous standards of the Singapore education system.
Responsibilities- Curriculum Leadership: Lead the development and localization of standardized curriculum, lesson plans, and assessment tools aligned with the latest MOE syllabus and AEIS requirements.
- Teaching Operations: Oversee daily academic operations, including timetable management, classroom quality control, and student progress tracking.
- Faculty Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of teachers, ensuring they deliver engaging and results-oriented lessons.
- Product Innovation: Design specialized "bridging courses" for non-native English speakers to improve their proficiency in English and Mathematics within the MOE context.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor passing rates and student outcomes, utilizing data-driven insights to iterate curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the subject matter expert to provide academic guidance for enrollment teams and communicate academic progress to international parents.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Pedagogy, or a related academic discipline; graduates from prestigious universities are highly preferred.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the Singapore enrichment or private education sector, with a proven track record in AEIS or MOE-aligned exam preparation.
- Subject Expertise: Deep understanding of the Singapore MOE curriculum, assessment frameworks, and the challenges faced by international students from diverse backgrounds.
- Operational Excellence: Proven experience in managing academic teams and scaling teaching operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential to communicate effectively with international parents and stakeholders.
- Leadership: Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for student success.
