Requirements:
- This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring 2–3 days per week in the Johannesburg office.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar product-focused role
- Proven experience owning and managing product backlogs in agile delivery environments
- Strong ability to gather requirements, prioritise work, and translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience working closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver digital products
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar
Nice to have:
- Experience with user research, customer interviews, or usability testing
- Exposure to analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Power BI
- Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, or software development processes
- Relevant certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or similar
- Experience mentoring junior product team members or leading product initiatives
