About Us
Superior Cabinets & Design Pty Ltd is a custom joinery business specialising in high-quality residential and commercial cabinetry throughout South East Queensland. We are seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker / Installer to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of custom kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, laundry cabinetry, entertainment units and bespoke joinery.
- On-site measuring, fitting and adjustment of cabinetry to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Reading and interpreting plans and shop drawings.
- Installation of hardware and accessories, including Blum fittings.
- Carrying out modifications and problem-solving on site to achieve the required finish.
- Liaising with builders, trades and clients professionally.
- Workshop assembly and preparation of cabinetry prior to installation.
- Operation of woodworking machinery and hand and power tools when required.
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Cabinetmaker, with a strong emphasis on installation of custom joinery.
- Proven ability to install kitchens, wardrobes and bespoke cabinetry to a high standard.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and other trades.
- Current driver's licence preferred.
- White Card preferred.
Salary
$79,499 – $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
