PRODUCTION MANAGER

ITAL Food Group is a leading Australian-owned manufacturer and supplier of biscuits and cakes,servicing retail, wholesale, private label and export markets. Due to continued growth, we areseeking an experienced Production Manager to join our manufacturing team in Campbellfield,Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
·Determining, implementing and monitoring production strategies, policies and production plans forbiscuit manufacturing operations.
·Planning, organising, directing and coordinating daily manufacturing activities to ensureproduction schedules and output targets are achieved.
·Monitoring production processes and performance to ensure efficiency, quality standards anddelivery requirements are maintained.
·Controlling the operation of production systems and ensuring manufacturing activities runeffectively and efficiently.
·Supervising and directing production staff engaged in manufacturing, processing, packaging andrelated operations.
·Monitoring the use of materials, equipment and labour to ensure efficient production and costcontrol.
·Investigating production issues, inefficiencies and delays and implementing corrective actions.
·Ensuring production output meets required quality standards and specifications.
·Overseeing quality assurance systems and ensuring compliance with internal standards and foodmanufacturing requirements.
·Coordinating maintenance of production plant and equipment to ensure operational continuity andminimise downtime.
·Preparing and maintaining production records, performance reports and operational data formanagement review.
Skills and Experience
·A Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management,Production Management or a closely related field.
·At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a Production Manager or Manufacturing Operationsrole within a food manufacturing or industrial environment.
·Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and manufacturing workflow management.
·Demonstrated ability to manage production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and improve productionprocesses.
·Excellent organisational, scheduling and planning skills to ensure production targets are achieved.
·Ability to communicate effectively with production staff, engineering teams and management.
·Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
·Understanding of quality control and food safety standards in manufacturing operations.
