Maintenance Planner
About us
ITAL Food Group is a leading Australian-owned manufacturer and supplier of biscuits andcakes, servicing retail, wholesale, private label and export markets. Due to continuedgrowth, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our manufacturingteam in Campbellfield, Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
·Develop, implement and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance schedules forproduction equipment, machinery and facility assets.
·Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and ensureoperational efficiency.
·Review maintenance requirements and prepare detailed work plans, schedules, labourrequirements and material allocations.
·Coordinate with production, engineering and maintenance personnel to schedule plannedshutdowns and maintenance activities.
·Monitor maintenance performance and equipment reliability, identifying opportunities forcontinuous improvement.
·Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset registers, work orders and maintenancedocumentation.
·Ensure spare parts and maintenance materials are appropriately forecasted, procured andavailable when required.
·Assist in analyzing equipment failures and implementing corrective and preventativemaintenance strategies.
·Monitor compliance with food manufacturing standards, workplace health and safetyrequirements, and company procedures.
·Prepare maintenance reports and provide recommendations to management regardingasset performance and maintenance planning.
Skills and Experience
·Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Planning or a related field.
·At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a maintenance planning role within amanufacturing, food processing or industrial environment.
·Demonstrated experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
·Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance principles.
·Excellent organizational, scheduling and planning skills.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
·Ability to communicate effectively with production, engineering and maintenance teams.
·Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements within a manufacturingenvironment.
