Senior Project Manager
UP Recruitment has partnered with one of NZ's most exciting project management consultancies to appoint a Senior Project Manager to their Auckland team.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior PM with 8-10+ years of experience to step into an already high-performing team and get stuck straight into complex projects across New Zealand in Healthcare, Education, Aviation, Infrastructure & Hospitality / Retail sectors.
The Role:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex construction projects from feasibility through to handover
- Manage project planning, procurement, programming, budgeting, and reporting
- Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams and contractor engagement
- Act as the primary client interface and trusted project advisor
- Monitor project performance including cost, risk, quality, and programme outcomes
- Facilitate stakeholder management across public and private sector environments
- Prepare and present project reports, governance updates, and recommendations
- Identify and mitigate project risks while driving proactive solutions
- Mentor and support junior project managers within the business
- Contribute to business development, client relationships, and repeat work opportunities
- $160K – $190K base salary
