Digger operator/labourer
We are seeking an experienced Digger Operator (1.7T - 6T) with strong skills in cutting to level and finishing work.
In addition to operating machinery, you'll be hands-on with civil construction tasks, including formwork, boxing, concrete pours, and general use of hand and power tools – similar to the duties of a Civil Hammerhand.
Based out of our East Tamaki yard, you will travel to sites across Auckland, assisting with the construction and installation of council playground projects.
What you'll get:
- $31.00–$32.00 per hour (options for sole traders)
- Immediate starts
- Consistent hours over Winter
- Monday–Friday (weekend shifts optional) 7am–5pm or later depending on site progress
- WTR endorsement and good experience operating diggers cutting to levels
- Experience and confidence using hand tools to do civil hammerhand duties
- Pass a pre-employment drugs test and willing to undergo a criminal history check
- Your own car to get to the yard in East Tamaki
