Junior-Middleweight Designer
The Studio
A creative studio working within a fast-growing international hospitality group is seeking a Junior Designer to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The studio partners with a portfolio of premium hospitality and lifestyle brands, creating thoughtful, design-led experiences across print, digital, editorial, and environmental touchpoints.
Working as part of a collaborative creative team, you'll be embedded within a key client account, building strong relationships and contributing to the delivery of beautifully crafted, detail-oriented design work. The culture is creative, fast-paced, and supportive, valuing curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to approach challenges with fresh thinking. This is an opportunity to develop your skills within a team passionate about branding, storytelling, and exceptional guest experiences.
The Opportunity
As Junior Designer, you will support the conceptualisation and delivery of creative projects across a range of brand touchpoints. Working closely with both the creative team and client stakeholders, you will help bring brand stories to life through compelling visual communications and high-quality design execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and evolution of brand identities across multiple hospitality and lifestyle brands.
- Creating high-quality design assets across print, digital, editorial, packaging, signage, menus, and marketing collateral.
- Assisting with concept development, mood boarding, and visual storytelling projects.
- Maintaining brand consistency and exceptional attention to detail across all outputs.
- Supporting artwork preparation and developing knowledge of print production processes and specifications.
- Collaborating directly with client teams to understand briefs, present ideas, and incorporate feedback.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Researching industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years' experience in a graphic design role, ideally within branding, hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, or agency environments.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Figma.
- A refined eye for typography, colour, layout, and visual storytelling, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience creating assets across both print and digital channels, with an interest in editorial design and brand communications.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
