Retail Manager
About Us
We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy service station and convenience store in Kerang, Victoria. This role offers an opportunity to lead a retail team, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations.
- Lead, supervise, and train staff.
- Prepare rosters and manage labour costs.
- Monitor sales, profitability, and store performance.
- Manage inventory, stock control, and merchandising.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Handle cash management and banking procedures.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail management or store management role.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Experience in convenience retail, fuel retail, supermarket, or hospitality management preferred.
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and operational performance.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
