Motel Manager
The Golden Chain Nicholas Royal Motel, located in the heart of Hay, is seeking a motivated and experienced Motel Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, comfortable accommodation in a welcoming garden setting. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is committed to maintaining our reputation for excellence, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn alignment with the ANZSCO 141311 (Hotel or Motel Manager) framework, the successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of all motel operations, including:
Directing and overseeing all reservation, reception, housekeeping, and maintenance activities to ensure seamless service.
Supervising security arrangements and the ongoing maintenance of our gardens and facilities.
Overseeing accounting, budgeting, and purchasing activities; monitoring cash flow and resource management.
Assessing and reviewing customer feedback to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and promptly resolving any guest complaints or problems.
Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant liquor, gaming, and other laws, as well as maintaining high standards of Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.
Providing local tourism information to guests and assisting with the coordination of travel or local activities as needed.
RequirementsProven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality/accommodation sector for 4 to 5 years.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational departments simultaneously.
Strong understanding of financial management, rostering, and administrative tasks.
Commitment to maintaining the high standards associated with the Golden Chain brand.
