What kind of person are we looking for?
Strong data-first BI Engineers who are passionate about working with data and building systems that will provide data availability for an organization that’s growing at scale. If you’re a curious mind who constantly questions the status-quo, then you’d fit right in with us.

What would you get to do in this role?

• Be an integral part of defining the data consumption strategy across the org. You’ll also monitor performance trends and influence any interventions based on performance.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering and product functions to understand the data flow and architecture, finding the best tech solutions from an Analytics standpoint to build scalable data models.
• Drive integration of AI capabilities to build forward-looking, BI-focused applications and automated insights.
• Define processes and best practices when it comes to data modeling, consumption, querying, and reporting.
• Become an SME in the tech stack being used across the different analytics functionalities and become the go-to person for unblocking any tech boundaries.

 

What do you need to have to apply for this position?

• 2-4 years of data analytics or BI engineering experience in relevant roles.
• Advanced SQL & Big Data: Ability to write complex queries to manipulate and consolidate multiple data sources.
• Hive Expertise: Good knowledge of Hive internals, big data querying, and query optimization techniques.
• BI & Visualization Principles: A strong grasp of data visualization and BI design principles. (Expertise in specific tools like Qlik, PowerBI, or Tableau is not strictly required; we value your foundational understanding of how to build effective visual data stories).
• AI Integration: Knowledge of leveraging AI/LLMs to build smart, BI-focused applications.
• Data Architecture: Strong understanding of data handling, data modeling, and data flows.
• Communication: Ability to clearly explain thoughts and ideas either verbally or in written form.
• Knowledge of Python (especially for data processing, pipelines, or AI integrations).
• Good to have (Bonus Skills): Understanding of basic engineering concepts behind Airflow pipelines and data orchestration.
