The SMSF team is a section of the broader accounting division which aims to offer a personable accounting experience for Self-Managed Super Fund clients.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for client interaction and managing a Pod. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Liaising and communicating with clients, building strong relationships from Day 1
• Answering clients' factual questions, including those relating to the SMSF best practices
• Managing the workflow of your team to meet required deadlines, including ensuring monthly updating of your SMSF client list is completed
• Training team members as required, supporting their ongoing development
• Liaising with the Auditor to ensure SMSFs remain compliant with Superannuation Industry (Supervision) and Income Tax Assessment Acts and Regulations
• Liaising internally with different teams within BlueRock, as well as other stakeholders, to ensure clients receive a holistic service offering

We want to hear from people who:

• Have completed a Bachelor degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
• Have 3 to 4 years' experience in SMSF
• Have strong SMSF technical knowledge
• Experience with Class Super is preferred but not required
• Have strong communication skills, with proven experience in client communications
• Are highly driven with a proactive and positive attitude, and a great culture fit for our team
• Want to help the development and growth of a new team alongside the progression of your own career
