Materials Technician
About Us
We are a well-established Australian local enterprise specializing in plastic recycling
and plastic pellet processing, operating in a government-supported sustainable
environmental industry with official industry subsidies and stable long-term
development prospects. With solid annual turnover and sustainable profit growth, our
factory focuses on the recycling, refining and remanufacturing of waste plastic
materials, supplying high-quality recycled plastic pellets for downstream packaging,
automobile and other industrial sectors. Committed to standardized production and
strict quality management, we are now seeking a professional Materials Technician to
join our team to strengthen our material testing and quality control system.
Role Description:
- Conduct incoming quality inspection and material analysis for recycled plastic raw
materials, identify plastic material types, detect impurities and unqualified
components, and ensure all incoming materials comply with factory production and
industry standards. - Perform regular on-site sampling and professional performance testing of
semi-finished products during plastic crushing, cleaning and pelletizing production
processes to monitor production stability and adjust process parameters timely. - Carry out physical and chemical performance testing for finished recycled plastic
pellets, including melt flow rate, melting point and other core indicators, and issue
standard product quality test reports. - Manage the on-site material laboratory, regularly calibrate, maintain and inspect
precision testing equipment such as melt indexers and universal tensile testing
machines to ensure accurate test data and normal equipment operation. - Establish and optimize the factory’s material quality control management system,
formulate standard testing procedures, and standardize the whole-process quality
supervision of plastic recycling and processing. - Sort, file and archive all technical documents, test records and quality inspection
reports, maintain complete and traceable technical data archives for production and
quality management. - Cooperate with external certification institutions and industry audits, assist in ISO
quality system certification and product standard review, and complete relevant
technical docking and material submission work. - Track industrial material quality standards and plastic processing technical
specifications, optimize testing methods and quality control processes continuously to improve finished product qualification rate. - Collaborate with production teams to analyze material quality problems, put
forward targeted improvement suggestions, and resolve technical and quality issues in material processing.
Job Requirements & Essential Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or related materials engineering
disciplines. - Possess minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in industrial material
testing, laboratory management and quality system control fields. - Equipped with systematic professional capabilities in material performance testing,
data analysis, full-process quality control and standard laboratory management. - Proficient in establishing and improving industrial quality control systems,
independently operating and maintaining professional precision testing equipment,
and compiling and standardizing technical documents and inspection reports. - Familiar with plastic forming technology, mould design and plastic material
processing principles, with a solid theoretical foundation of polymer materials. - Have rich practical experience in industrial-grade polymer material testing,
laboratory daily operation management and quality system implementation and
