About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Adviser to join our dynamic human resources team. This broad generalist HR role sits within our fast-paced fresh food wholesale industry and delivers comprehensive workplace people support across our entire workforce.

Balancing day-to-day employee support with long-term people improvement projects, this position covers employee relations, recruitment, workplace compliance, workforce reporting and employee wellbeing initiatives, giving you full exposure to HR operations across operational, logistics and corporate workforces within our business. You will act as a trusted internal HR specialist, providing practical, legislation-aligned guidance to all team members and business leaders on all workplace and employment matters.

Key Responsibilities
1.Providing professional hr advice and support to warehouse supervisors, site superintendents and department leaders across our fresh produce operations
2.Managing frontline employee relations matters covering performance management, workplace conduct, roster and absenteeism management, grievance resolution and formal workplace investigations
3.Assisting with full-cycle recruitment for warehouse, logistics and corporate roles, new starter inductions and cross-site internal employee movements
4.Preparing employment documents, official correspondence and regular hr reporting on our operational workforce
5.Supporting site-level workforce planning and organisational change management initiatives for our national fresh food teams
6.Assisting with hr projects, modern award policy rollouts and end-to-end people process improvement across all locations
7.Maintaining complete, accurate HR records and confidential employee data for our multi-site workforce
8.Fostering a positive, respectful and highly engaged workplace culture for warehouse, logistics and office staff alike

About You

Minimum 3 years of hands-on HR experience (required)
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (desirable, not required)
Solid working knowledge of full HR workflows, employment documentation and end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (required)
Practical experience handling employee relations and performance management matters (required)
Outstanding communication and conflict resolution skills to engage with diverse team members and business stakeholders (required)
Meticulous attention to detail and robust record-keeping abilities
Confidence collaborating with leaders and staff at all organisational levels
Strong discretion, professional conduct and sound judgement when dealing with confidential personnel information
