We are seeking an Junior Manufacturing Operator to help us redefine the music industry. elasticStage is building the world’s first on-demand vinyl and CD platform, unlocking physical music for the Digital Creator era. By 2030, there will be over 250 million music creators globally, most locked out of physical formats due to high minimum runs and operational complexity. elasticStage solves this through patented on-demand vinyl and CD manufacturing technology, powering a free-to-use platform where creators can produce and sell physical releases worldwide with no upfront costs or minimum quantities.

Are you passionate about hands-on work and looking for an exciting opportunity to develop skills in a vibrant industry? We are seeking a motivated Junior Manufacturing Operator to join our team and play a vital role in our production process. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team, learning to operate various machinery and equipment used in the vinyl record production process. Your focus on quality, problem-solving skills, and dedication will help us maintain the highest production standards. As part of this role, you’ll work on a rotating shift basis, which provides exposure to different aspects of our production processes and supports work–life balance for many team members. Our shift schedule includes:
- Early Shift : 7 am - 3pm 8 hours - Monday - Friday
- Late Shift : 2pm - 10 pm 8 hours- Monday - Friday
- Night Shift : 9 pm - 6 am Monday - Thursday 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
We aim to provide reasonable notice of shift allocations and do our best to accommodate preferences where possible.
Responsibilities
- Hands-On Training: Learn to operate and maintain a variety of equipment and machinery used in our production process.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the production process, inspect materials and products for quality, and make precise adjustments to ensure top-notch results.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues, minimising downtime and ensuring efficient production.
- Process Management: Follow established manufacturing processes and maintain accurate records of production jobs, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our production team to prioritise and fulfil production orders promptly, contributing to the timely delivery of products.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the organisation and management of supplies and materials to keep the production line running smoothly.
- Career Development: Earn relevant qualifications and certifications as you grow in your role, with opportunities for further skill development and career advancement.
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above.
- A genuine interest in manufacturing or production, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job.
- A strong work ethic demonstrated in a warehouse or other working environments, including retail, hospitality, or similar roles.
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Basic problem-solving skills, with the confidence to ask questions and follow instructions when issues arise.
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks with guidance and support.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment.
- Ability to follow processes, work independently when required, and manage time to meet production targets.
- Physical capability to be on your feet for periods of time and handle manual tasks safely, with training provided.
- Flexibility to work different shifts or occasional weekends, where required.

Work Location
This role is onsite, based in our vibrant Elstree office (WD6), five days a week.
