We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable HR Truck Driver to join our team based in O’Connor.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position involving multi-drop deliveries, customer pickups, and general transport duties across the Perth metropolitan area. The successful candidate will operate a variety of vehicles and assist with loading and unloading activities.

No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work across different delivery routes and vehicle types while supporting our growing operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-drop deliveries and customer pickups safely and efficiently.
• Operate HR vehicles across various delivery runs.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Perform deliveries using forklifts, tailgate loaders, and manual handling methods.
• Deliver and stock products at customer sites, including rotating stock where required.
• Handle products weighing up to 25kg.
• Assist with general transport, pick-up, and drop-off duties.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and comply with all safety requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess demonstrated specialised experience in heavy rigid transport operations, multi-drop delivery services, and forklift-based freight handling within a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment.

Essential Requirements

• Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence.
• Current Forklift Licence (LF).
• Minimum 1-2 years' specialised experience operating HR vehicles in a multi-drop delivery, logistics, transport, or distribution environment.
• Demonstrated experience loading, securing, transporting, and unloading freight safely using forklifts and tailgate loaders.
• Proven experience completing customer deliveries involving manual handling, stock replenishment, and inventory rotation.
• Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, load restraint requirements, and heavy vehicle safety compliance.
• Experience conducting daily vehicle inspections, identifying maintenance issues, and maintaining vehicle presentation standards.
• Ability to safely handle and transport products weighing up to 25kg on a regular basis.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills gained through direct customer-facing delivery roles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage delivery schedules, navigate metropolitan delivery routes, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with early morning starts and changing operational requirements.

Highly Regarded

• Experience operating flat-top trucks and transporting palletised freight.
• Previous specialised experience in handling the freight of supermarket shelving and purpose-built units. Understanding supermarket logistics
• Warehousing, inventory control, and logistics coordination experience.
• Experience using handheld scanners.

Specialized Experience Requirement
