MS Autoworks pty Ltd a trusted and growing automotive repair and servicing business based in Glen Waverley, is seeking a reliable and organised Office Manager (ANZSCO - 512111) to join our team on a full-time basis.
Position Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- 38 hours per week
- Salary: $79,500 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
- Location: Glen Waverley VIC 3150
About the Role
The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the business and supporting the efficient coordination of automotive repair and servicing activities, customer bookings, supplier communications, and overall office functions to ensure the smooth operation of MS Autoworks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organise, coordinate and oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the business.
- Develop, implement and maintain office procedures, systems and administrative processes to improve efficiency.
- Allocate and manage office resources, including workspace, equipment and supplies.
- Supervise administrative staff, assign duties, monitor performance and provide training where required.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, staff onboarding, payroll administration and personnel records.
- Maintain business records, correspondence, databases and filing systems in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor office budgets, process invoices, assist with accounts administration and liaise with external service providers.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements, workplace policies and relevant legislation.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, travel arrangements and internal communications.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders to support business operations.
- Prepare reports, business documents and management information as required.
- Support management in planning and implementing administrative and operational improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant full-time work experience as an Office Manager or in a similar management role.
- Strong leadership, organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of payroll, record management and general business administration practices.
- Ability to work full-time (38 hours per week).
