Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator at Kepak Group, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth and efficient running of our production processes. This is a hands-on position that offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with opportunities for career advancement.
Working Hours: 35 hours with the possibility of overtime based on operational needs. Rotating 4-day week (Monday to Saturday) with rotating AM/PM weekly shift pattern.
AM Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM
PM Shift: 3:15 PM – 1:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift to load and unload goods and materials
- Transporting goods and materials to and from storage areas
- Supplying production lines with raw materials and ingredients
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and completing necessary documentation
- Ensuring that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and serviced
- Following all relevant safety procedures and guidelines
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Valid forklift certification
- At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods of time and lifting heavy loads.
- This role involves the handling, processing, and packaging of pork and beef products as part of daily operations.
