About the position
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Transport Company Manager to manage and optimise our growing business. In this fast-paced role, you will be the key link between the drivers, customers, and operational team.

Key Responsibility
- Plan, organise, direct and control the daily operations of the transport company.
- Assessing client needs through detailed discussions, advising on appropriate vehicle options and rental packages, and addressing any queries or concerns to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Developing and implementing transportation schedules based on the client
- requirements, order specifications, and business objectives.
- Organise dispatch, routing, and driver schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise delays.
- Monitoring the fleet’s maintenance and procurement processes, overseeing
- upkeep of vehicles, equipment, and fuel to support uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure compliance with transport legislation, heavy vehicle regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage transport budgets, controlling fuel, maintenance, and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with transport safety standards, road regulations, and company policies.
- Handle client bookings, contracts, and service agreements.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, financial records, and performance evaluations.
- Identify operational issues and implement improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
Skills And Experience Required
- Relevant qualifications in management or Business Administration (bachelor’s preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in transport, logistics or fleet management
- Strong knowledge of transport regulations, road safety laws and compliance requirements
- Ability to supervise and lead drivers and operational staff effectively
- Strong organisational problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and client management skills with the ability to handle complaints promptly.
