Brothers Keeper Cafe is a busy local cafe offering quality food and excellent customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our team.
The Cook will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
• Preparing ingredients for daily food service, including washing, cutting, and portioning food items
• Cooking breakfast, lunch, and Thai dishes according to recipes and customer orders
• Using various cooking methods such as grilling, frying, and stir-frying to prepare meals
• Checking ingredients to ensure freshness and quality before use
• Assisting with kitchen preparation to support smooth daily operations
• Plating meals for service while maintaining consistency and presentation
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and food preparation stations
• Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures
Minimum requirements:
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Cook, and/or relevant qualification
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
