BIM Specialist

Role Description The BIM Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for supporting project teams in the creation, management, and coordination of BIM models. Day-to-day tasks include developing and updating architectural and MEP models, ensuring model accuracy and compliance with project standards, and coordinating information among architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. The role involves preparing BIM-related documentation and submittals, resolving clashes and coordination issues, and maintaining BIM libraries and templates. The BIM Specialist will collaborate closely with design and technical teams, contribute to workflow improvements, and support the implementation of BIM best practices across projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills, including model creation, management, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess BIM Coordination skills, with experience in clash detection, model integration, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Candidates should possess Architecture-related skills, including understanding of building design, construction processes, and drawing standards.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination skills, with the ability to work with MEP models alongside architectural models.
- Candidates should possess Submittals-related skills, including preparation, review, and organization of BIM and drawing submittals for project approval.
- Proficiency in common BIM authoring and coordination tools (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent) is beneficial.
- Relevant academic qualifications in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and effective communication and collaboration skills are advantageous.
