RETAIL MANAGER

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation (depending on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Manager to lead our store in Upper Mount Gravatt. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for retail to contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Recruit, train, roster, supervise, and support store staff.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business objectives and maximise profitability.
Manage inventory, stock ordering, stock control, merchandising, and product presentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements, and retail operating procedures.
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Prepare sales reports, maintain accurate business records, and monitor store performance.
Oversee cash handling procedures, banking, and point-of-sale operations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment while promoting a positive team culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A relevant qualification in Retail Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Previous experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Experience with inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
A customer-focused approach with the ability to drive sales and improve store performance.
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts as required.
