This is a highly strategic role, responsible for end-to-end project management, cross-functional leadership, risk mitigation, and customer engagement. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure seamless execution, cost optimisation, and technical excellence in low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) switchgear systems.
Key Responsibilities

· Ensure timely delivery of projects that are of superior quality and economically viable while adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
· Apply agile and lean project management techniques, ensuring the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and customer demands.
Strategic Stakeholder Engagement
· Collaborate effectively with senior leadership, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure that project execution supports the organization's growth strategies.
· Act as the main point of contact for customers, guaranteeing transparency, addressing issues proactively, and delivering exceptional service.
· Partner with the US manufacturing facility and global supply chain stakeholders to achieve seamless integration of switchgear solutions in international operations.
· Oversee executive project reporting and performance assessments, offering essential insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
· Identify and take proactive steps to mitigate project risks, ensuring thorough contingency planning and effective issue resolution.
· Lead initiatives for continuous improvement by applying lean principles and automation to boost operational efficiency.
· Oversee project financials, guaranteeing cost management, margin protection, and overall project profitability.
· Utilize AI-driven project tracking tools and data analytics to enhance forecasting, risk evaluation, and make timely decisions.
Technical Oversight & Compliance
· Collaborate with our technical teams and supply chain partners to ensure that switchgear solutions adhere to the highest technical, safety, and regulatory standards, including compliance with IEC, UL, and NEC.
· Work alongside engineering and manufacturing teams to improve switchgear product design, modular integration, and overall efficiency.
· Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and changing standards, guaranteeing that CEL remains at the cutting edge of innovation and regulatory adherence.
Technical & Industry Expertise
- Over 5 years' experience in switchgear, power distribution, or electrical infrastructure, ideally in mission-critical environments.
- Proven background in LV/MV switchgear projects, including engineering, procurement, and implementation.
- Familiarity with UL standards, NEC codes, and US electrical regulations is beneficial for international expansion.
- Preferred: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification.

- Strong in cost management, contract negotiations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Adept at balancing technical challenges with commercial objectives for profitability.
