The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is seeking a reporter who will doggedly pursue watchdog journalism in the state's largest county. We want a reporter who lives out our newsroom credo: They Answer to Us. We want a reporter who feeds our culture of relentlessness in pursuit of the facts that matter. This isn't a job for someone who relies on press releases, press conferences and flacks to get stories. It's a job for someone who pores through records, who demands straight answers to hard questions, who believes in the value of shoe-leather reporting.
