Project Manager / Logistics Lead

This organisation is delivering a large-scale national infrastructure and communications deployment programme spanning hundreds of sites across New Zealand. Supporting critical frontline operations, the programme involves coordinating site readiness activities, equipment deployments, installations and operational transitions across a complex multi-location environment.
Tō tūranga hou | Your new role
You will oversee the planning and coordination of site audits, equipment deployments, installation activities and deployment schedules across more than 300 locations nationwide. Working closely with vendors, technical teams, field resources and business stakeholders, you will ensure sites are prepared, installations are delivered to plan, and programme milestones are achieved.
This is not a traditional software delivery role. Instead, you will be leading the logistics, coordination and delivery of a large-scale field deployment programme involving physical site-based installations, resource scheduling, procurement coordination and stakeholder management within a complex operational environment.

- Proven experience delivering multi-site deployment, infrastructure, communications or hardware rollout programmes.
- Strong project delivery skills across planning, scheduling, logistics and stakeholder management.
- Experience coordinating site audits, installations, field teams, suppliers and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities within a complex programme environment.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
- Available for an immediate or short-notice start.
- $110-$130 per hour depending on experience.
- Initial six-month contract.
- Wellington CBD location.
