The Role

Are you a learning architect with a knack for translating strategic capability needs into high-impact, enterprise learning solutions? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design & Delivery Consultant to join Snowy Hydro in our Retail Talent & Capability team to lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of complex enterprise learning initiatives.  This isn't just about training delivery; it's about building critical organisational capability. 

Reporting to the Design & Delivery Manager, you will act as a vital connector between business operations and the broader HR team. You'll partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to turn capability gaps into engaging, commercially sound, and scalable learning experiences that elevate standards across the business.

This is a fixed-term 12 month contract based in Melbourne. Enjoy flexible working arrangements with 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of high-impact, large-scale enterprise learning experiences using a variety of delivery methods across the enterprise.
• Partner alongside the Design & Delivery Manager with business leaders and HR Business Partners to identify strategic, macro-level capability priorities and build responsive learning solutions.
• Facilitate engaging, high-level programs and workshops tailored for senior audiences, ensuring a seamless and meaningful learner experience.
• Coach, mentor, and support L&D Consultants within the team to elevate instructional design standards, build internal capability, and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Lead the evaluation of learning initiatives; tracking activity and analytics while using data, feedback, and business outcomes to continuously optimise programs and align them with safety, compliance, and operational excellence frameworks.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to stakeholders across all levels, offering coaching and guidance on learning methods, capability development, and driving a continuous learning culture.

About You

You are a collaborative, commercially minded L&D leader who thrives in dynamic environments. You bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Adult Education, HR, Psychology, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Senior L&D or consulting experience, with a proven track record leading end-to-end, large-scale learning projects within highly regulated environments.
• Demonstrated capability in designing scalable, skills-based learning solutions mapped to capability frameworks and technical competency models.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a knack for building trust and partnering across all business levels.
• Hands-on expertise with modern learning technologies and authoring tools (e.g., LMS platforms, Articulate 360, and digital tools).
