Warehouse Manager
This is an opportunity for a proven leader who enjoys developing people just as much as improving processes. You'll inherit a capable team while identifying opportunities to lift efficiency, strengthen warehouse systems and implement improvements that make a lasting impact across the operation.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll spend time both on the warehouse floor supporting your team and working with the wider business to improve performance, inventory accuracy and service delivery.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead, coach and develop a team of approximately 9-10 warehouse staff, building capability and accountability
- Create a positive, high-performing culture with a strong focus on safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements that improve efficiency, accuracy and customer service
- Oversee inventory management, warehouse operations and product dispatch to ensure high service levels
- Build strong relationships with manufacturing, customer service, procurement, transport providers and other key stakeholders
- Lead change initiatives and support the ongoing evolution of warehouse operations
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience leading warehouse operations within manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced distribution environment
- Strong people leadership skills with demonstrated success developing, coaching and retaining high-performing teams
- Experience using ERP systems to manage warehouse operations, with strong overall IT and systems capability
- Sound understanding of inventory management, warehouse KPIs and operational planning
- A collaborative leadership style with the confidence to challenge existing processes and drive positive change
