
Analyst (L2) - Kaitātari
We are seeking an Analyst to support the management and delivery of the Public Advice & Guidance and Escalations & Advising work programmes through data-driven insights, project management and programme coordination.
This role provides analysis, oversight, and advice to support effective delivery of the Public Advice & Guidance and Escalations & Advising work programmes. You will maintain visibility across projects, ensuring priorities, risks, and progress are clearly understood and proactively managed.
Working closely with stakeholders, you'll translate data into meaningful insights that inform decision-making and improve outcomes. You will also contribute to and lead continuous improvement initiatives, helping optimise delivery and enhance system and customer results. This is a great opportunity to work at the intersection of data, delivery, and strategy within a collaborative environment.

Tax Counsel Office – Te Tari Tohutohu Tāke
The Tax Counsel Office (TCO) provides technical advice to Inland Revenue and its customers about the interpretation and application of tax laws and has a key role in overseeing tax technical capability and decision-making across IR. The group is critical to maintaining and enhancing the integrity of the tax system for the benefit of its customers and Aotearoa New Zealand.
You will be part of a team focused on supporting the Public Advice & Guidance and Escalations & Advising work programmes through strong oversight, reporting, and continuous improvement. The team plays a critical role in enabling visibility of work, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting better decision-making across Inland Revenue. Collaboration is central to how we work, building strong relationships across IR to influence outcomes and deliver value.
