About The Role
We're looking for a full-time Marketing Executive to own OUTPLAY's marketing engine end-to-end — from paid ads and email automation to content creation and performance tracking. This is a foundational hire: you won't be inheriting a playbook, you'll be building one. You'll work directly with the founder and collaborate with designer and brand growth lead. This is a hands-on, independently-managed role. You plan, execute, and measure.
Responsibilities
Content & Social
- Own the content calendar across Instagram and TikTok — plan, film, edit, and publish
- Brief the designer on creatives, campaign assets, and product launches
- Manage community engagement: DMs, comments, UGC reposts, ambassador shoutouts
Paid Advertising
- Run and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok Ads, and Google
- Own campaign setup, audience targeting, budget pacing, and creative testing
- Track and report weekly on CAC, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rate — scale what works, cut what doesn't
Email Marketing & CRM
- Build and manage automated flows: welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, re-engagement
- Execute all promotional sends, manage segmentation and deliverability
- A/B test subject lines, timing, and content; report on open rates, clicks, and revenue attributed
Performance & Analytics
- Maintain a weekly marketing dashboard across all channels
- Tie spend to revenue outcomes, not vanity metrics
- Flag what's driving growth and what isn't — with data to back it up
Partnerships & PR
- Manage the ambassador and UGC creator pipeline — identify, onboard, maintain
- Track performance and sales attribution from creator activity
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in a marketing role with full, independent ownership of ads, content, and email
- Has built marketing workflows and systems before
- Self-directed: can set your own priorities, manage your own time, and flag blockers without being chased
- Proven ability to run paid campaigns on Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Ads — can set up, manage, and optimise independently
- Experience with email marketing CRM platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) — has built flows, not just sent campaigns
- Can shoot and edit short-form video content for social — comfortable on camera or behind it
- Strong analytical instincts — reads the numbers, not just the creative
- Excellent written English for captions, emails, and campaign copy
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and basic analytics
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Pet owner or strong interest in the pet industry preferred — you should know the space: brands, trends, what pet owners actually care about, who the competitors are
- Bonus: existing knowledge of pet lifestyle brands
- Bonus: prior experience at a D2C or e-commerce brand
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
Compensation
SGD $3,000–$4,000/month, depending on experience and capabilities.
