About the Team

The Business Management function is in charge of driving desired business growth from formulated strategy and business initiatives, as well as developing business intelligence and insights to enhance our business value proposition.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Junior Analyst/Associate to join our Business Management team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the daily operational and regulatory cadence of the SGX FX business. You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, helping to operationalize new entities, maintain robust internal controls, execute strategic business initiatives, and conduct critical market and strategy research.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Market Intelligence & Growth Strategy

• Perform market, industry, and competitor strategy research to support the formulation of future business growth plans and initiatives.
• Assist in gathering business intelligence and compiling actionable insights to continuously enhance the SGX FX value proposition.

Elevate Operational Excellence & Safeguard Controls

• Streamline and execute critical operational workflows, including timely regulatory reporting and periodic parent group reporting.
• Act as a key safeguard for internal controls, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and overall operational readiness across the business unit.
• Establish clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational continuity and efficiency.
• Support cost tracking, budget discipline, and procurement management processes to ensure proper budget discipline and operational resource optimization.
• Manage and maintain the documentation of SGX FX’s internal policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and alignment with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.

Operationalize Strategic Regulatory & Business Expansion Projects

• Support the implementation of regulatory and licensing strategies to operationalize newly established regulated entities.
• Participate actively in regulatory and compliance-related projects and initiatives across various SGX FX business lines.

Build Cross-Functional Connections & Synergy

• Coordinate and interact across different business units to drive a cohesive, collaborative, and highly connected working environment for SGX FX.
• Assist in broader business management projects, business support, and ad-hoc activities as needed to drive the business management team's core objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Up to 2 years of relevant working experience. Fresh graduates with a strong interest or internship background in financial markets and products are welcome to apply.
• Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct strategy and market research, analyze trends, and compile meaningful business insights.
• Attention to Detail: Highly meticulous and organized, with proven ability to manage operational matters with precision, including SOP documentation, process standardization, and stakeholder support.
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English. Comfortable communicating and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical Skills: Familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe.
• Work Ethic: Self-motivated, proactive, and responsible. Able to multitask, deliver on tight deadlines, and work independently as well as effectively within a team.
