
Engineering Manager, Command by Asana
Command by Asana is a new product for R&D teams to keep delivery on track as scope shifts, give managers visibility into progress, and enable humans and agents to work from cleaner context and ship with fewer iterations. We are looking for a collaborative Engineering Manager to lead one of the teams bringing this vision to life. In this role, you will build and empower a talented team of engineers, partner cross-functionally to shape the product roadmap, establish technical foundations, and deliver a superlative user experience.
This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do, and your recruiter can share more about the in-office requirements.
We offer a Contract of Employment (UoP) for our employees in Poland.
What you'll achieve
- Support, mentor, and grow a talented team of engineers to build a new product from the ground up.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, and Data Science to define roadmap priorities and deliver intuitive product capabilities.
- Guide architectural and technical decisions to ensure system reliability, performance, and long-term scalability.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous delivery processes, enabling the team to iterate quickly and ship value continuously.
- Champion accountability for key outcomes, linking your team's everyday work to Asana's broader strategic goals.
About you
- Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.
- Experience guiding and developing software engineering teams in building scalable web applications, ideally with experience leading 0-1 product development.
- Solid technical background with a deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals and modern architecture.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with product managers and designers to balance technical health with user velocity.
- Clear communication and empathetic leader who thrives in a collaborative environment.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 34 000 - 39 000 PLN gross per month (subject to all taxes and necessary deductions). The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
