(Senior) Mechanical Project Engineer
Jouw dag als (Senior) Mechanical Project Engineer?
Je komt op maandagochtend op kantoor en kan direct aanschuiven bij een kick-off meeting, waarbij ook jouw collega’s van de elektrische, software- en montageafdeling aanwezig zijn. Een grote tomatenteler heeft ons opdracht gegeven om het uitvouwen van klapkratten te automatiseren Gaaf! Als Mechanical Project Engineer ga jij aan de slag met het complete mechanische ontwerp, het maken van detailtekeningen en de stuklijsten van deze End-of-Line machine.
Vanochtend op de fiets heb jij al nagedacht over hoe je een minimum van 25 kratten per minuut gaat halen, waarbij dezelfde machine ook een grote diversiteit aan andere kratten kan handelen. Tijdens de meeting bespreek je de diverse mechanische modules die hergebruikt kunnen worden en de modules die nieuw ontworpen moeten worden op basis van de overige functionele specificaties van de klant.
Terug op de werkvloer begin je met het uittekenen van de eerste submodules. Niet niks, een machine ontwerpen die voldoet aan de klanteisen én onze eigen machinestandaarden. Daarnaast houd je in je achterhoofd al rekening met toekomstige standaardisatiemogelijkheden en een efficiënt ontwerp dat je kunt realiseren binnen de planning en het budget van het project.
Tijd om naar huis te gaan? Eerst nog een rondje door de productiehal. Hier zijn jouw collega-monteurs hard aan het sleutelen aan een machine die je enkele maanden geleden hebt aangepast naar klantspecificatie. Goed om de feedback die je van ze hebt gekregen ook nog even in de praktijk te bekijken.
Hoe jij dingen in beweging krijgt:
- Hbo-studie Werktuigbouwkunde of Mechatronica;
- 5-10 jaar werkervaring als Mechanical Project Engineer in de machinebouw/robotica;
- Kennis van Inventor/ andere 3D CAD-software;
- Je draagt graag jouw kennis en ervaring over aan je collega's;
- Naast engineer ben je een kei in communiceren, kwaliteitsgericht en verantwoordelijk.
