JOB OPPORTUNITY – PRODUCTION MANAGER (FRENCH-ENGLISH BILINGUAL)

Permanent Full-Time Position
A leading industrial company specializing in rail maintenance and services is currently seeking a Bilingual Production Manager to join its team in Moose Jaw.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead production operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives are achieved.
• Supervise and support frontline supervisors and unionized employees.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage production schedules to meet operational priorities and deadlines.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support employee training, development, and engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and improve overall performance.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Business, Management, or a related technical field is considered an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• French-English bilingualism is highly preferred.

Une entreprise industrielle de premier plan spécialisée dans la maintenance et les services ferroviaires est à la recherche d'un(e) Gestionnaire de production bilingue pour rejoindre son équipe à Moose Jaw.
Principales responsabilités :
• Superviser les opérations de production et assurer l'atteinte des objectifs en matière de sécurité, qualité, productivité et coûts.
• Encadrer et soutenir les superviseurs de première ligne ainsi que les équipes syndiquées.
• Planifier et coordonner les activités de production afin de respecter les échéanciers et les priorités opérationnelles.
• Développer une culture d'amélioration continue et identifier des opportunités d'optimisation des processus.
• Assurer la conformité aux normes de santé, sécurité, qualité et environnement.
• Participer à la formation, au développement et à la mobilisation des employés.
• Collaborer avec les différents départements afin de favoriser l'efficacité opérationnelle et l'atteinte des objectifs organisationnels.
Profil recherché :
• Diplôme d'études secondaires requis; formation postsecondaire en gestion, administration ou domaine technique connexe considérée comme un atout.
• Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans un environnement de production à rythme soutenu.
• Expérience en supervision d'équipes, idéalement dans un milieu syndiqué.
• Connaissance des principes d'amélioration continue (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma ou autres).
• Solides compétences en leadership, gestion d'équipe et résolution de problèmes.
• Excellentes habiletés en communication et en relations interpersonnelles.
• Bilinguisme français-anglais..

• Présence régulière sur le plancher de production.
• Déplacements occasionnels (moins de 5 % du temps).
• Environnement industriel dynamique nécessitant une grande capacité d'adaptation.
