Hairdresser
ACZL PTY Co LTD T/as Fade Mens Barber is seeking a Senior Hairdresser to join our dynamic team. A beautiful work environment with a professional, experienced team in a top, busy salon. Experience in beauty will be an added advantage. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to take their career to the next level, while working alongside experienced stylists, colourists and beauticians. We are happy to consider flexible hours of employment for the right candidate.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Providing advice on hair care, beauty products and hairstyles
- Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps
- Colouring, straightening and permanent waving hair with chemical solutions
- Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors
- Styling hair into dreadlocks and braids and adding hair extensions
- Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches
- Cleaning work areas and sanitizing instruments
- Arranging appointments and collecting payments
- May clean, colour, cut and style wigs and hairpieces
- Ability to multitask between different tasks at hand while working under pressure during busy periods
- You must be passionate about the hairdressing industry and keen to learn from experienced stylists and technicians
- Stay ahead of hairdressing trends and continually striving to grow
- Ability to adapt to different electronic management systems
- Beauty experience will be an added advantage
Qualifications & experience
- Certificate III Hairdressing or above with
- Minimum 1 years of work experience as a Hairdresser
- Extensive experience in similar position may substitute the formal qualification
