About us:

TAG-Azzure Management Pty Ltd is involved in the operation and management of service station sites. We are committed to maintaining safe, functional and well-presented facilities and providing a high standard of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper and other finishes to protect, maintain and decorate the surfaces of service station buildings, structures and associated facilities.
Erect scaffolding and ladders as required and place drop sheets and protective coverings to protect equipment, fixtures, flooring and surrounding areas from paint splatter.
Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing, sanding and sealing surfaces in preparation for painting and finishing.
Select and prepare paints to achieve required colours and finishes, including mixing pigments, oils, thinners and drying additives as required.
Apply paints, varnishes and stains to internal and external surfaces using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
Hang wallpaper and other wall coverings where required, including matching patterns and trimming edges to achieve the required finish.
Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment and keep work areas clean and organised during and following painting works.
Repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames where required as part of painting and maintenance works.

Qualification and Experience

Relevant qualification in Painting and Decorating or a related field. At least three years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
Previous experience as a Painter undertaking painting, decorating and surface preparation work on buildings and structures.
Demonstrated experience preparing surfaces and applying paints, varnishes, stains and other finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
Experience in colour matching, paint preparation and selecting appropriate coatings and finishes for different surfaces.
Ability to safely use and maintain painting tools, equipment, ladders and scaffolding.
Good attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality finishes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team while following workplace health and safety requirements.
