
Licensed Automotive Technician
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify structural, mechanical, electrical, and or cosmetic issues.
- Use diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical manuals to accurately pinpoint problems and execute effective repairs.
- Complete structural and cosmetic repairs, including body and framework, panel replacement, bumpers, suspension systems, brakes, exhaust systems, occupant restraint systems, and heating/cooling systems.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed for body, frame, or component repairs.
- Collaborate closely with estimators, painters, and fellow technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Document all work performed using shop software (body shop connect) and maintain accurate repair records.
- Stay up to date with advancements in automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions to ensure vehicle safety, performance, and appearance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere of knowledge sharing, assisting colleagues, and communicating effectively to prioritize tasks.
- Licensed technician from Skills trades Ontario or Red Seal
- Experience in collision repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and focused on quality of work
- Comfortable with structural repairs, welding, aluminum work and assembly/ disassembly
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Team player with a strong work ethic
