The Grape House Group Pty Ltd is an organic grape producer based in Euston, NSW. We grow and supply high-quality, sustainably produced table grapes, including:
- Red varieties: Flame and Crimson
- White varieties: Menindee and Thompson
- Black varieties: Melody™ and Sweet Sapphire™
Our grapes are grown under strict organic certification requirements, with a strong focus on product quality, chemical-free production and environmentally responsible farming practices.
Our commitment to sustainability extends from the vineyard to the retail shelf. We provide a range of packaging and supply options, including recyclable pre-packs, eco-friendly punnets and bulk loose packaging designed to maintain freshness and product quality.
As our operations continue to grow, we are seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the following full-time positions.
Office Manager
The Office Manager will be responsible for coordinating the company’s administrative operations and supporting the efficient operation of our farming, packing and distribution activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office and administrative operations.
- Develop and review office procedures and administrative systems.
- Coordinate communications between management, farm, packing and logistics teams.
- Maintain business records, correspondence, reports and internal documentation.
- Manage office supplies, equipment and administrative resources.
- Assist with staff records, rosters, onboarding and workplace documentation.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments and communication with suppliers and customers.
- Monitor administrative expenses and assist with basic budgeting and reporting.
- Ensure company records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in business administration, management or a related field.
- Previous office administration or office management experience.
- Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and business administration software.
- Experience in agriculture, horticulture, food production or logistics will be highly regarded.
Software Developer
The Software Developer will design, develop and maintain software systems that support our agricultural production, inventory, packing, quality assurance and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business and operational requirements and identify suitable software solutions.
- Design, develop, test and maintain business applications and database systems.
- Support systems used for crop records, inventory, traceability, packing and distribution.
- Integrate software with existing business and operational systems.
- Diagnose and resolve software faults and technical issues.
- Maintain system documentation, source code and technical records.
- Implement improvements relating to system security, reliability and performance.
- Provide technical support and training to employees.
- Work with management and operational teams to improve business processes through technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in software engineering, computer science, information technology or a related field.
- Relevant experience in software development and database management.
- Knowledge of programming languages, database systems and software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with agricultural, inventory, logistics or traceability systems will be highly regarded.
Primary Products Inspector
The Primary Products Inspector will inspect grapes and related produce to ensure compliance with company quality standards, organic certification requirements and applicable food safety and supply specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect grapes during harvesting, packing, storage and dispatch.
- Assess produce for quality, size, colour, maturity, freshness and possible defects.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and relevant quality standards.
- Monitor compliance with organic production and certification requirements.
- Inspect packing, labelling, storage and handling processes.
- Identify damaged, contaminated or non-compliant produce.
- Maintain inspection records, quality reports and traceability documentation.
- Assist with food safety, quality assurance and internal audit procedures.
- Communicate quality issues to farm, packing and management teams.
- Recommend corrective action and improvements to quality-control processes.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in agriculture, horticulture, food science, quality assurance or a related discipline.
- Previous experience inspecting agricultural or food products.
- Understanding of fresh produce quality standards, food safety and traceability requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
- Experience with grapes, fresh produce or certified organic products will be highly regarded.
Contract Administrator
The Contract Administrator will manage and administer agreements relating to growers, suppliers, customers, packaging, transport and other business service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and administer commercial contracts and service agreements.
- Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, pricing and performance requirements.
- Liaise with management, customers, growers, suppliers and external contractors.
- Maintain contract registers, correspondence and supporting documentation.
- Review contract variations, renewals, extensions and amendments.
- Identify contractual risks and report potential issues to management.
- Assist with tender documents, quotations and supplier negotiations.
- Monitor contractor performance and compliance with agreed terms.
- Support the resolution of contractual and commercial disputes.
- Ensure contracts align with company policies and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in business, contract management, commerce, law or a related field.
- Previous experience in contract administration or commercial administration.
- Strong written communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
- Ability to interpret commercial terms and maintain accurate records.
- Experience in agriculture, food supply, packaging, logistics or distribution will be highly regarded.
