We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a collaborative People team within a large, complex organisation. This is a varied role with a strong focus on employment relations, leadership coaching, policy development, and supporting broader people initiatives.

As a trusted advisor, you'll provide expert guidance to leaders on a range of employee relations matters while contributing to key people programmes and organisational initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert employment relations advice and case management support
- Managing investigations, disciplinary processes, performance matters, and complex people issues
- Coaching and upskilling leaders to effectively manage employee matters
- Supporting organisational initiatives including performance, engagement, succession planning, remuneration, and talent activities
- Contributing to policy development, process improvement, and compliance with employment legislation
- Identifying trends and insights from people data to drive continuous improvement
- Supporting change initiatives, restructures, and wider people projects
- Proven HR generalist experience in a complex organisational environment
- Strong employment relations expertise and sound knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation
- Experience managing disciplinary processes, investigations, and performance matters
- The ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset
- Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively within a wider People team
