Als Senior Software Project Engineer ben jij de technische spil in onze high-end machinebouwprojecten. Jij ontwikkelt niet alleen software, jij bepaalt mede de richting van onze software-structuur en zorgt ervoor dat onze machines slimmer, sneller en toekomstbestendig worden.
Vanaf de start van een project neem jij het voortouw in de softwarestrategie. Je vertaalt complexe klantwensen naar een robuuste en schaalbare besturingsoplossing voor complete end-of-line systemen. Denk aan machinebesturing, robotica, servo-techniek, veiligheidssystemen en intuïtieve HMI-oplossingen. Jij zorgt ervoor dat alle softwarecomponenten naadloos samenwerken binnen één geïntegreerd systeem.
Met jouw senioriteit kijk je verder dan het project alleen. Je werkt actief aan het verbeteren van onze software building blocks en standaardisaties. Je signaleert waar systemen slimmer kunnen, herontwerpt bestaande modules en tilt daarmee de technische basis van onze machines structureel naar een hoger niveau. Jij bent een drijvende kracht achter innovatie binnen het team.
Tijdens engineering ben jij het inhoudelijke ankerpunt. Je begeleidt collega-engineers, bewaakt de softwarekwaliteit en neemt beslissingen over architectuur en implementaties. Jouw keuzes hebben directe impact op performance, betrouwbaarheid en onderhoudbaarheid van onze machines.
Ook in de praktijk ben je nauw betrokken. In de werkplaats test je samen met collega’s nieuwe systemen en los je complexe software-uitdagingen direct op. Je schakelt snel tussen analyse en actie, waardoor machines efficiënt en stabiel blijven draaien.
Daarnaast ben je regelmatig op locatie bij internationale klanten om installaties in bedrijf te stellen. Daar zie je jouw software tot leven komen in volledig geautomatiseerde productielijnen en zorg je dat alles perfect functioneert binnen de productieomgeving.
In deze rol ben je niet alleen software engineer, maar ook architect, coach en innovator. Jij brengt software binnen onze organisatie naar een hoger niveau en bepaalt mee hoe de volgende generatie machines wordt gebouwd.
Hoe jij dingen in beweging krijgt:
- Hbo-studie in Industriële Automatisering of Elektrotechniek
- Jij bent een doorzetter en houdt van doorpakken
- Ten minste 5-7 jaar werkervaring met servobesturing, robot- & PLC-software
- 15-20% van je tijd breng je door in het buitenland (bij onze klanten)
