The team supports large-scale routing infrastructure and collaborates closely with stakeholders across operations, systems engineering, and automation to ensure robust connectivity for global research and trading activities.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your Future Role within QRT</strong>&nbsp;<br>You will:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and operate scalable, resilient infrastructure configuration and platform services&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery&nbsp;</li> <li>Implement and evolve observability systems using OpenTelemetry (OTel), including distributed tracing, metrics, and logging&nbsp;</li> <li>Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes&nbsp;</li> <li>Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using scripting and infrastructure-as-code approaches&nbsp;</li> <li>Work closely with engineers to improve system design, deployment processes, and runtime performance&nbsp;</li> <li>Operate and optimise containerised environments and orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes)&nbsp;</li> <li>Take ownership of services and features from implementation through production support and continuous improvement&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Present Skillset</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Strong Linux systems expertise, including debugging and performance tuning&nbsp;</li> <li>Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VRFs, VLANs, BGP)&nbsp;</li> <li>Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation and tooling&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with Python web frameworks (e.g. Flask, Django REST Framework)&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience building RESTful APIs&nbsp;</li> <li>Hands-on experience with containerisation (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)&nbsp;</li> <li>Understanding of asynchronous and multi-threaded systems&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience working with CI/CD systems in production environments&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiarity with distributed systems and common reliability patterns&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to define and measure KPIs, SLAs, and SLOs&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders&nbsp;</li> <li>Desirable:&nbsp; <ul> <li>Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (i.e. Terraform)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of OpenTelemetry (OTel), including instrumentation, tracing, metrics, and observability pipelines&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<br>QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
