We have a great opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join our Voids Team, playing a vital role in bringing empty properties back to a high standard and getting homes ready for new tenants as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will draw on your trade skills to carry out a wide range of maintenance and building tasks, taking pride in the quality of your work and making a real difference to the people who will call these properties home.

Our Freebridge Community Housing goal is to provide affordable, safe, and quality homes for current and future generations, for those who need a place to call home. Freebridge was set up in 2006, to receive the transfer of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk’s housing stock. We now have over 7500 properties across West and North Norfolk, in addition to building new homes for social and affordable rent, and to support those who want to move into shared home ownership. We’ve had numerous achievements, including delivering our customers' promises and bringing homes to the Decent Homes Standard, affording our customers a much better quality of living. At Freebridge, we live by our values: Belong, Own It, Think Customer, One Team One Purpose, and Be the Change.

Outline of key responsibilities...

  • Undertake a wide range of maintenance and construction tasks in line with the Freebridge Standard and industry best practice, drawing on your trade skills and experience to deliver a high quality of work and great customer satisfaction

  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and customers, providing updates on the progress of works and realistic timescales for completion
  • Work safely at all times, ensuring the wellbeing of yourself, colleagues, customers and the general public in accordance with all internal procedures and industry standards
  • Manage the full lifecycle of maintenance activities, from pre-inspection and specification through to materials ordering, work completion, post-inspection and timely administrative sign-off
  • Work collaboratively as part of the Property Services team, operating across delivery teams and adapting to work independently or alongside colleagues as required to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the service

We are looking for someone who has...
